Pemberton News Letter

We are confident that our website will provide clear and concise help and give our patients the information they require in an easy and convenient format. It has been designed with the patient’s needs at the forefront of everything, from checking surgery times to letting us know what you think of us.

Serving You

Our dedicated team are here to treat those minor ailments that occur as well as providing specialist management of long-term conditions and clinics covering a wide range of healthcare issues. The technology also means you can now do a lot of things from the comfort of your home such as order a repeat prescription or cancel an appointment.

Partners in Care

Once registered, patients and healthcare professionals work together to ensure the most appropriate care is provided. This partnership philosophy extends even further and our active patient group exists to make sure that patient needs and the practice offering are always heading in the same direction.

The surgery has suitable access and toilet facilities for disabled patients.  Please inform the receptionist if you are deaf, have visual problems or any other disability.

Dear patients, Please note that we will be closed on Good Friday through to Easter Monday and will re-open on Tuesday 23rd April at 8am.  If you need to see a doctor whilst we are closed you can call extended hours on 01942 482848. Thank you.

Carers Event Wednesday 13th June 2018

The practice would like to thank all the patients that attended the carers event we held as it was a great success, we would also like to thank Pat from Wigan and Leigh Carers Centre, Katie from Community Link Workers, Matthew from Lean on Me project and Jean from the bereavement service and most of all Ellen (Carers lead) and Craig (Business Coordinator) for arranging the event. We managed to refer 13 new carers!

If you’re aged 40-74 and you haven’t had a stroke, or you don’t already have heart disease, diabetes or kidney disease, you should have an NHS Health Check every five years.
Health Checks are important in checking for early signs of disease and assessing your overall health. You can find out more about what happens at a Health Check here.
To book an appointment call your local surgery to see if you are eligible.
