Practice Management

The practice manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.

Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription enquiries, dealing with financial claims, dealing with patient records and carrying out searches and practice audits.

Been working with the practice for many years, I have a great relationship with the patients. My duties include prescriptions and deputy safeguarding lead for the practice.

Senior Receptionist, Main duties include administration , monitoring patients with chronic illnesses. working on reception face to face with Patients , answering telephones, I am also the Practices Learning disabilities and Military Veterans Lead . I have been committed to the Practice for the last 19 years .

"Receptionist- I have worked here at Pemberton Surgery as a Medical Receptionist since September 2016. My duties include greeting patients, booking appointments and dealing with queries along with varied administration duties. I am also currently lead receptionist for end of life care and domestic violence. Good teamwork among receptionists is vital to provide an efficient, positive frontline service for patients and to provide assistance and support for the doctors and nurses."

Medical Receptionist, first joined Pemberton Surgery September 2016 with experience. My main duties are Carers and Flu lead as well as day to day administrative roles.
